Rebecca Qiuluan Feng began studying private piano lesson at an early age at 6 with Ms Hongyun Bo in Tianjin, China. She has achieved certificate the Tianjin Piano conservatory exam of level 6 at the age of 10. As a teenager, she had to pursue school studies and subsequently put piano aside. 10 years later, upon her immigration to Canada did she realize how strong her passion for piano and classical music had grown, she soon studied and was accepted in Concordia University Major in piano performance Bachelor of Fine Arts with private teacher Professor Gregory Chavedian. In addition to her avid dedication to classical repertoire, Rebecca has also developed a large repertoire of gospel music, especially music for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During the past 18 years, she has been performing as a soloist and chamber musician in such venues as Oscar Peterson Hall, L’Oasis Musicale of Christ Church Cathedral, Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Place Kensington Concert Hall and Le Cavalier Residence Hall; she has also been a piano accompanist of student’s jury exam in Concordia University, RCM exam and competitions. After completinh her Bachelor degree of a high GPA with distinction, she has continued piano studies with Doctor Elias-Axel Pettersson, Doctor Benjamin Bertin and Professor Paul Stewart; she has also taken conducting lessons with Chad Heltzel.

 During the past 18 years, some of Rebecca ‘s young students have received 90% in RCM exam level 8, some have received 88% in CMC competition, some have received 94% in OMNI competition, some have received 98 % in IYMC competition and some have received Gold medal in CMQ competition. All of her young students have performed repertoire equivalent to RCM level 9- 10 or above during thec ompetitions mentioned above.

Currently, she is teaching piano at theConservatoire de Musique de Montréal as an outside- camp teacher. She has also received High Performance teacher’s Certificate at Music Academy of Montreal.
