Here, at the QMTA, it starts with an all-day recital, on Sunday. Participants play Canadian composers exclusively. A guest judge selects the candidates who will be invited to play at the closing gala the following Saturday.

Our last "Beginner-Intermediate" meeting took place on June 14, via Zoom. It was such a pleasure! We raised our glasses to wish the Club a long life.

  • Teachers invite their adult students at the home of a host, to an informal gathering where they can perform the repertoire of their choice in a friendly atmosphere.

  • There are two clubs: (1) Beginners & Intermediate performers; (2) Advanced performers (Grade 8 RCM and up).

  • Admission is free. Guests each bring a plate to share to eat after the recital.

  • Participants must be comprised exclusively of friend members or students of current active or provisional QMTA members.
