Françoise Lombard : Pédagogie Dalcroze et enseignement instrumental et vocal

Françoise Lombard est musicienne, rythmicienne et pédagogue de l’écoute. Diplômée de l’Institut Jaques-Dalcroze et du Conservatoire de Genève (piano, harmonie), elle forme d’abord des professeurs de rythmique à Bienne (Suisse). Elle entreprend ensuite une formation en pédagogie de l’écoute (méthode François Louche), discipline qu’elle enseigne en Europe et au Québec aux artistes, instituteurs, éducateurs et thérapeutes. La rythmique Jaques-Dalcroze est une pédagogie musicale active fondée sur le mouvement corporel. L’élève est amené à ressentir ce qu’il entend avant de l’analyser ou de l’appliquer à son instrument. La stimulation de la motricité globale et de la motricité fine lui permet de vivre son corps comme premier instrument de musique, celui par lequel la musicalité est ressentie et transmise. Par l’improvisation pianistique de l’enseignant Dalcroze, la musique est le moteur du cours; elle incite au mouvement corporel ou elle le suit. Dans le cadre de cet atelier pédagogique, les notions suivantes seront appliquées au cadre de l’enseignement du chant ou d’un instrument aux jeunes enfants :

  • la stabilité de la pulsation,
  • le sens de la mesure et des regroupements métriques ternaire et binaire,
  • la coordination motrice : associations et dissociations entre gauche et droite,
  • la sensorialité du bout des doigts et la motricité fine,
  • l’expression corporelle de la dynamique musicale (forte, piano, crescendo, décrescendo, etc.),
  • le sens du phrasé (crouse, anacrouse, métacrouse),
  • le transfert des facultés développées dans les exercices ci-dessus à l’instrument ou au chant,
  • le développement de l’oreille musicale (improvisations sur le pentacorde, reconnaissance de la dominante et de la tonique),
  • le développement de l’imagination et de l’expression musicale par l’improvisation (chantée ou à l’instrument).

Un temps d’échange sur des questions pédagogiques est prévu soit au fil des expériences soit à la fin du cours.

Adult Performance Clubs

  • Teachers invite their adult students at the home of a host, to an informal gathering where they can perform the repertoire of their choice in a friendly atmosphere.

  • There are two clubs: (1) Beginners & Intermediate performers; (2) Advanced performers (Grade 8 RCM and up).

  • Admission is free. Guests each bring a plate to share to eat after the recital.

  • Participants must be comprised exclusively of friend members or students of current active or provisional QMTA members.

  • Reservation is required.

Canada Music Week®

November 16-22, 2020

The aims of Canada Music Week® are to bring to the attention of the public, through various means, the importance of Canadian music; to support composers and performers of Canadian music; to introduce contemporary music to young Canadians and stimulate a keener appreciation and understanding of this music; and to encourage music educators to widen their knowledge and experience of Canadian works.

Here, at the QMTA, it starts with an all-day recital, on Sunday. Participants play Canadian composers exclusively. A guest judge selects the candidates who will be invited to play at the closing gala the following Saturday.
