Iryna Gris Music Studio
The classical Ukrainian-Canadian pianist Iryna Gris, based in Montreal, works as a pianist, accompanist, chamber musician, choir director and music director/organist at the Maisonneuve Presbyterian Church of Canada. Iryna Gris has performed in numerous international concerts and festivals, on the stages of the SYCM Concert Hall in Shenyang in China, Varna Summer International Music festival in Bulgaria, Odessa State Conservatory in Ukraine, the University of North Carolina in U.S.A, and the University of Western Ontario, London. She was trained at the Stoliarsky Specialty Music school with legendary Prof. Irina Balashova and went on to complete her Master's degree in piano performance at the Odessa State Conservatory.
Later on Iryna Gris studied at the University of Western Ontario and spent two years at the University of North Carolina as a vocal and choir accompanist. Iryna was heard in Montreal recitals with Caroline Holden, Joanne Grant and “Camerata West”. Active member of Canadian Music Teacher Association and former American Music Teachers Association. Iryna is an artistic director of the West Island Children Music Festival.
Mrs. Gris teaches to students of all levels and all ages.
